  • family counselling
  • residential rehabilitation
  • preparation for our residential rehabilitation program
  • group support
  • support for people with both mental health and alcohol and other drug concerns
  • counselling and support for clients involved with the law including court diversion programs and completing community based
  • orders and complying with parole conditions
  • continuing care for people who have completed a program and wish to stay connected with support for longer
  • Self-management and recovery (SMART) groups.

Headspace Albany

Alcohol and Drug Services

Headspace Albany is a part of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Headspace Albany supports young people 12 – 25 who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns and/or substance use issues, and their family and friends.

Many practitioners work from headspace Albany providing mental health support and counselling for young people. Headspace Albany is easy to access for young people and their families, with no referral required to use the services. To make an appointment you can call the centre and make a time to have a chat to our staff.

HOURS:

  • Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday: 9am-5pm
  • Wednesday: 9am-8pm

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership.

AA Albany meet on Friday at 8pm
