Kimberley Mental Health & Drug Service (KMHDS) provides specialist mental health services to the Kimberley for all age groups. The service aims to deliver a comprehensive range of high quality, community focused mental health services to residents of & visitors to the Kimberley. KCADS provides assessment, counselling and referral and support to people who are experiencing problems as a result of their own, or someone else’s alcohol or drug use. Participation in KCADS services is voluntary.

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

headspace Broome is a FREE youth health service dedicated to supporting young people aged 12-25. 

At headspace Broome they understand that sorting things out is not always easy, so to make things a little easier they offer a one stop shop with a variety of services to meet your needs. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID – 19 headspace Broome are not supporting from their physical location. They will still be supporting young people through phone counselling and online options such as video conferencing.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership.

Kularri Patrol Services

Kularri Patrol provides safe transportation for intoxicated people, including transport home or to a designated safe place. They provide transport for any reported or found intoxicated indigenous individuals to home, Sober up Centre, Refuge, or a safe place.

HOURS: PATROL HOURS

  • Monday – Friday: 8.30am—5.00pm & 5.00pm—9.00pm
  • Saturday: 3.00pm—7.00pm 
  • Sunday: 3.00pm—7.00pm
