HelpingMinds offers free and confidential counselling and support to young people who experience emotional or social difficulties and are at risk of developing a mental health concern.


Counselling and support can help manage emotions, build resilience and coping skills. Their counselling is flexible to fit into your schedule and can include:

  • In-school counselling for students aged 7-17
  • Appointments at pre-arranged outreach options such as community centres

The Deadly Hearts offers a range of recreation, diversion, education and sporting activities to all youth aged 5 – 11.

The Indigenous Healing Service supports children and young people impacted by child sexual abuse and/or family and domestic violence.
 
The healing service supports:
  • Children, young people, adults and families who have experienced and/or been impacted by child sexual abuse and family domestic violence
  • Children and young people who are responsible for or who are at risk of sexually abusing other children and or being violent towards others. It is available to families living in South Hedland and Port Hedland, Western Australia. Outreach services are also provided in outlying Aboriginal communities.
